The primary function of the Speech Language Pathologist provides direct care, patient education and the management of the applicable therapy (speech) called for in the patients treatment plan. Consults with and educates other care team members concerning applicable patient assessment and treatment protocols. Serves as a rehabilitation resource for the care team.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of an accredited School of Speech Pathology with Master s Degree.
LICENSURE: Must have a current licensure by the Georgia State Board of Speech Language Pathology.
