Our Talent Manager position is a brand new opportunity, where you will get to create and innovate our recruitment and talent management practices. As part of our HR team, you will work across all areas of our business supporting managers to find the best talent for the shop floor, grooming salons and vet clinics, whilst also keeping our external and internal pipeline alive.

As our Talent Manager, you will:

  • Create, innovate and manage recruitment process and practice across our entire business
  • Source and shortlist candidates for all vacancies
  • Develop and manage our internal and external candidate pipeline / talent pool
  • Develop our Employer Branding
  • Develop Work Placement policies and programs
  • Manage recruitment campaigns for new store openings
  • Assist in development of our employee value proposition
  • Create an improved candidate experience through our Website
  • Coordinate with Managers to identify necessary skills and develop hiring plans
  • Liaise with key stakeholders, including company CEOs, to understand resourcing needs and provide quality candidates through your expert knowledge in various sourcing methods e.g. Social media and Job Boards (Facebook, LinkedIn, Indeed, Kookaburra, Seek), Agencies, publications, careers fairs, etc
  • Continuously review a variety of appropriate selection tools to effectively shortlist candidates
  • Manage the recruitment of 457 visa holders and liaise with immigration to ensure compliance
  • Monitor and report on recruitment trends

You will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Experience as a seasoned recruiter
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a recruitment / talent role
  • Bachelor degree in a related discipline preferred
  • A thirst for innovation and thinking outside the box
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of self-discipline
  • Must be proactive, enthusiastic and self-motivated
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proven expertise in using social media platforms to search and recruit talent
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
