If you’re a Senior Java Developer skilled in both Server Side & client-side development and looking to get into an imaginative, innovative and enterprising entertainment eCommerce based in the heart of London this could be the job for you.
As a Senior Java Developer, you will be part of a highly talented and dynamic development team of around 15 developers spilt into small Agile teams following XP & Lean practices, participating in daily stand up’s, planning sessions and showcases. Your duties as a Senior Developer will be responsible for the building and operating of a bespoke content & rights management system, publishing platform, multi-tiered websites as well an online shop. Additional duties as a develop within the team will be collaborating with key business stakeholders and internal users to design and deliver experiences that will continue to attract new customers as well as existing to the web platforms. In return, you’ll have access to the latest development tools and practices available in the market with the ability to put your creative ideas into production whilst mentor junior members of the team through XP/Pair Programming principles.
. Database development; either SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, MySQL
. Exposure working on high-transactional multi-threaded web applications and systems using Groovy or Scala is highly desired
. Experience building Continuous Delivery pipelines and automatic deployment using Jenkins
. Understanding in Cloud infrastructure using AWS is highly desired

This job will pay a starting salary between GBP 70,000 – GBP 90,000 plus a wide range of benefits including pension scheme, bonus incentive, flexible working hours, 28 days’ holiday, training budget and more.
