My client a leading international supplier is looking for a Womenswear Design Manager to join the team. As a Womenswear Design Manager you must have gained experience managing a team within a commercial yet creative design team.
The role of a Womenswear Design Manager involves:
Trend research in relation to colour, fabrics, and styling details
Identifying new key shapes each season and analysing best sellers from the previous season
Competitor shopping and customer analysis
Supplier liaison and buyer meetings as required
Working closely with the in-house teams to lead the design for your area and ensure customers requirements are met
Leading and mentoring a team
As a Womenswear Design Manager, you must be an enthusiastic team player looking for a new challenge. The successful Womenswear Design Manager must have proven experience within womenswear and be passionate about the area.
Having gained experience within a retailer or supplier as a Womenswear Design Manager you must have experience of driving forward fashion led product ranges seasonally.
